"What can I say?! I love Tobias Eaton ! And this book was awesome!
Reading another short story on his POV was such a magical experience. Finding more about his relationship with Marcus son of a bitch! I hate him and how was his Choosing Ceremony and how he felt about it. How did he make up his mind about which faction he would choose. And finally how he felt in his first tests in Dauntless and how he got his nickname Four."
From M.J. Capulet (www.foreverjomarch.blogspot.com)
Before he became Dauntless, he was part of Abnegation.
Before he fell in love with Tris, he only had himself and his father.
Before he became known as Four, he was Tobias Eaton.
"The Transfer", one of Veronica Roth's series of short stories told from Four's point of view, revolves around the story of Marcus Eaton's only son, Tobias Eaton. Here we catch a glimpse of Four's old life before Tris and Dauntless—his vulnerabilities, his deepest, darkest secrets and the four fears that has defined him.
Although only 50 ebook pages long, Veronica Roth doesn't fail to deliver her message directly to the point. She thrusts an icy dagger on our chests and leaves us aching for more once she wrenches it out of our fragile, little hearts. There is a never a dull moment in Roth's short story. Every page is jumping with action and angst, and the character of Tobias is brought to a broader spectrum. Here he is stripped off his black clothes and replaced with his grey ones. Here he is a young man of contradictions—strong and weak, coward and brave all at the same time.

“You’re the one who has to live with your choice. Everyone else will get over it, move on, no matter what you decide. But you never will.”
If you like or even better love Divergent, you really should read The Transfer. It's amazing to see Tobias/Four choosing another faction, facing his own fears and [becoming Four instead of Stiff (yes,he was called that way too, just like Tris did)!
After reading it I hate Marcus even more (Is that possible? I hate him for what he was doing to Tobias and how he was treating him), there's some little look at Zeke who I adore ('cause who doesn't like Zeke, he's funny just like his younger brother Uriah) and, to my surprise, Tori.
The Transfer shows a little bit more about Tobias himself and that I love. This also makes me want to read all his short stories, to know him even better, to love him even more than I do now. (And I don't even mention Allegiant!).

Ummmmmm... that was freaking AMAZING! I may be almost 30 years old, but I'm srsly fanguuuuurling like a 13-year-old! EEEEKKKK!!! I can't wait for Allegiant!!!
Okay, so this was the story of Tobias's Choosing Ceremony and his first day as a Dauntless initiate, when he got the name Four. Plus there was some extra info that you don't expect but that are fabulous and give you some interesting insights into what Tobias might be thinking during other scenes in the books. Like during Tris's first day as a Dauntless or (BIG SPOILER).
So great! I can't wait for the next installment! Now I'm going to go reread the first two books... YAY!

Oh, Veronica Roth. She just twists that knife. She knows that we have to wait until OCTOBER for the last book in the series and while I really love the idea of having little novellas about Four ... it makes the wait for Allegiant so much worse!!
I hated to love this little book. I really did. Not because it was bad or anything but because it was absolutely heartbreaking. In Divergent, you fall in love with this strong and powerful man who is in control of everything around him. In The Transfer, all I could see was a broken little boy that I wanted to help and protect. It really gives you some amazing insight into the depths of who Four actually is.
I really can't say much more because it was only a handful of pages long and I don't want to ruin it!
I can tell you this much, it made me feel like a gluttonous hefty lady standing on a mountain of Zebra Cake wrappers waving her hands in the air while screaming "GIVE ME MORE!!" ...
I. Want. More. Four.

I just can't...okay?
I got it and I was all:
I love it so bad Veronica! I can't wait until December for the next one okay? It's just way to long from now... But anyway, back to my review of this amazingly awesome book.
Look Marcus you just need to stop beating your son okay? Like he is the best thing that has ever happened to the world. I was just like this, when I heard Marcus's name in "The Transfer."
Marcus has some serious problems to do that to Four. SERIOUS PROBLEMS.
Then I was just reading...like a abnormal fangirl like always:
Then it did the worst thing that books do....I was like it will last longer if you believe... Magical pages will appear and finish the whole story in Four's POV. But it did what I hate the most...
Just read this, Divergent Lovers.
