Which faction do you think is the best? The worst?

Completely agree with you. Everyone sees to everyone else's needs in Abnegation so no one is left out. The only problem is that they strip you of your individuality.
Honesty is great and all but sometimes it needs to be softened so it isn't brutal.

Each faction has their good and bad things, but you're at a best when you at least have 2 of them and like Tobias said first, there is bravery in being selfless. There are times when simply the factions get mixed together in a single action.
Saying that, what I think would be best in general?
Abnegation, without the extremes. But think about it, some of the problems with all the other factions could be somewhat resolved with some selflessness.
What I think is the worst one?
Candor. No doubt. I mean, there's nothing wrong with saying the truth and what you have in mind. But you gotta be more careful about that. The only GREAT thing I find about Candor is the truth serum and only for extreme cases. Also, with that serum... What's really the point of living a life of saying everything in your mind and the truth? Just stick that serum in someone and there you have it lol
What I'm saying is... I find this one faction somewhat a lil bit useless.

But you can become so selfless that it becomes stupid, because if everyone's selfless, then someone is going to have to be selfish to accept it.
Honesty can have it's advantages, it can make interrogations etc.easier. But yes, somethings can't be said.

Dauntless and Abnegation. Everyone can hate anything I say but this is my opinion. Selflessness and Bravery are the best things to be. If you are brave in the face of danger and react to save someone else that is bravery and being selfless. Hate all you want. This is what I think

Good points, I like the Dauntless manifesto, but what it turned into is dissapointing.

Erudite, in theory, is the best. Knowledge is always welcome and I'm sure they would work really hard there. Arrogance and corruption make Erudite a bad place.
Amity is harmless and people are happy, living in peace and in harmony with each other. While I don't agree with the serum, I couldn't deny that this faction is one of the best.
Dauntless is supposed to be good, and I got the impression that it used to be. However, when we're introduced to it, Dauntless has been ruined already, which is a shame. Still, considering how Four wishes it was like, I'd say it can be really good.
Candor and Abnegation have traits that should be encouraged to everybody, but I consider them the worst/less necessary factions. Candor has no purpose other than making people say the truth at all times, which can be dangerous. And Abnegation won't let people think about themselves, which is also so very dangerous.

For me Candor ist the best one, I love their faction manifesto:
Dishonesty is rampant. Dishonesty is temporary. Dishonesty makes evil possible.
Dishonesty leadss to suspicion. Suspicion leads to conflict. Honesty leads to peace.
Thruth makes us transparent. Truth makes us strong.
Truth makes us inextricable.
I don't think there's a faction which is the worst, i think in every faction are evil and good people (for instance in Abnegation it's Marcus, Fours father).

Each faction needs one another to survive. If there was no Candor, we wouldn't be clear on who we really are, let alone who we represent. Without Amity, no one would have food or energy. Without Erudite, we wouldn't have technology. Without Dauntless, who would protect us? And without Abnegation, who would help us when we need it most?

the worst faction is candor. Yes telling the truth is important but the truth serum maybe you don't want everyone to know everything about you

I see no need for candor…what do they give us? Out of bias…I would say DAUNTLESS RULES! But erudite where would Chicago be? No advancement! Not that I dont hate erudite it just seems like Chicago needs them. Who would teach abnegation how to become leaders? Who would care to the wounded? Erudite is essential.

I would say there is no best. Yes, Candor has their strength in honesty, Erudite's in intelligence, Abnegation in selflessness, etc., but each supports the other, therefore making none stronger and/or better than the other. And plus, there will no matter what be evil in this world. What's there to learn without it?

i believe that there is no "better' or "worse" faction. Literally. Before my birthday, my friend made me take a bumch of faction tests and revealed my results on my birthday by getting me a dauntless necklace. It isn't a cliche that I got into dauntless and frankly I would be just as proud of being from abnegation or candor. Sure I hoped a little but who doesn't? So yeah- thats my opinion. In my mind all factions are equal.
( EXCEPT DAUNTLESS CAUSE IM IN IT WHICH IS WHAT MAKES IT AWESOME :))
